The first feature-length Yakut film. A film that tells in a documentary and game form about the rituals, customs, beliefs, life and lifestyle of the Sakha people. The director recreated on the screen the ancient rituals of the life cycle, almost forgotten by the current Sakha.

Humanity does not learn from its mistakes, every time a situation of survival arises, people act selfishly, and are ready to bite their throats, and only when an incorrigible disaster occurs, they realize the perniciousness of their act. And in the story, two people meet in the desert, an Asian and an Eurasian, each going their own way and looking for something different. But they enter into a conflict over a water skin, and while they are fighting, the water flows out and only then they realize that they could share. And now they were both without water.

The film is dedicated to the 125th anniversary A.E. Kulakovsky's poem "Shaman's Dream". The language and images of cinema convey the poet's foresight about future events in Russia and in the world.

Taken from her parents' yurt in exchange for a rich dowry, she dreams of escaping home, but Khabyi is harsh and unforgiving. Only young Nykus tries to alleviate her difficult situation. During the journey, feelings develop between them. During the long and difficult journey, Khabiy begins to feel a growing threat. Nykus, driven by feelings for Kiluk, is ready to take extreme measures. Fate leads them to a long-abandoned hut that holds a secret from Khabiy's past.

1917, Yakutia. 9-year-old Mikita is growing up beyond his years, as he, along with adults, learns the difficult life of a Yakut cattle breeder, where every day is a struggle for survival.
