“R.J.W.” are the initials of Rodolfo Jorge Walsh. The documentary builds a parallelism between life and work, accounting for the self-referential component in his writing, from his childhood to “Operación Masacre”.

Juan has a normal life: a good job, he is married, he is expecting his first child and he wants to move to a bigger house. One day he discovers, by chance, that his identity is not what he thought.

When his long-lost brother resurfaces, Jacobo, desperate to prove his life has added up to something, looks to scrounge up a wife. He turns to Marta, an employee at his sock factory, with whom he has a prickly relationship.

What for many people seems to be simply the result of technological evolution, brings with it paradoxes and contradictions that endanger photographic film heritage and accelerate its deterioration.
