In 1971, renowned Bangladeshi writer Ahmed became refugee in Kolkata. He had been to earn his livelihood as a writer. Then he comes to know about his missing fiance named Tayeba admitted in a nearby hospital in the same city.
Varun and Suraj are best friends. But when police inspector Varun arrests Suraj for a crime he didn't commit, it leaves Suraj crestfallen and feeling betrayed. Soon Varun too is framed and imprisoned.
In 1971, during the Liberation War of Bangladesh against Pakistan, Rahelillah follows his conservative uncle, Jabar, who supports Pakistan while Shaheb joins the Liberation Force following his progressive uncle Sabar.
In search for "Ghashphul" 21 years old Towkir trips into a world of memory where at the end he feels as if he is reborn.
