In a Lebanese village, a beautiful woman is bound down by traditions as she falls in love with a wealthy married man that she is unable to be with.

A group of married couples pretend to love each other, with sincerity, and loyalty in front of society. However, problems and conflicts secretly arise, which are a result of betrayal and lack of trust, revealing that the apparent love between them is nothing but a lie.

Set in Syria in the early 1900s. A peasant has his land taken from him by the authorities. He gets imprisoned and beaten by the gendarme, but manages to escape to the mountains where starts a bloody struggle for revolution.

Based on the famous story, “Sa’ay El Bareed La Yaduq Babek Maratein” (The Postman Doesn’t Knock Twice), an adventurer escapes from danger by hiding in a small motel along the road. The motel is owned by an old, miserly man who is married to a young beautiful woman. Soon the fugitive and the wife develop a passionate relationship and plot to kill her husband. However, the old man’s son returns to spend the weekend in the motel and the plan goes off the rails.

A beautiful girl falls in love with a simple employee and surrenders herself to him, only to discover that he doesn't love her as he forsakes her. When her brother finds out what happened, he decides to take revenge on him and chases him everywhere.

When a pretty girl suffers from a psychological crisis, her mother takes her to a psychiatrist. As the doctor discovers that the girl's condition is the result of her stepfather's attempts to rape her, she decides to take revenge on him and kill him for what he did to her.

An anthology film that features three stories about the suffering of the people of the Syrian countryside in the time of feudalism; the first is about a poor peasant who falls victim to an agent of feudalism, the second is about a little girl, who has to get medicine for her feverish mother. As for the third story, it depicts the tools of feudalism in wresting the land from the peasants.

Unable to afford the dowry of his wealthy sweetheart, a young man is devastated when his beloved's father forces her to marry another, leaving him to convince his scientist brother to use his knowledge to shrink him. As he becomes pint-sized, he turns the life of his beloved's husband into hell.
