When Max dies in an accident, he goes straight to Hell. But the Devil Barney makes him an offer: if he manages to get three innocent youths to sell him their souls in the next two months, he may stay on Earth. Max accepts, and returns to Earth, equipped with special powers. However, his task is harder than expected, especially when seven year old Tobi demands that he marry his mother.

TV child star of the '70s, Dickie Roberts is now 35 and parking cars. Craving to regain the spotlight, he auditions for a role of a normal guy, but the director quickly sees he is anything but normal. Desperate to win the part, Dickie hires a family to help him replay his childhood and assume the identity of an average, everyday loser.

Years have passed and all the Bradfords, with the exception of Nicholas, have moved out of their Sacramento home and started their own lives. They get together for their father's Birthday celebration, and bind together to solve a crisis at his place of employment.

Banks' problem with country singer, Wes Collins, is that Wes punched him in the face when he was a baby. Banks is now intent on getting revenge for this by killing Wes.
