A young man joins the revolutionary movement in 1905, aimed at Tsarist occupiers of Poland. The members of the secret organization conspire to take the life of a noted Russian general.

Jan Polaski, after graduating from an aviation school, returns to his hometown as an aviation officer.

He manages to find time to fall in love with a woman named Rena before being caught. The Russians know he was part of the plot, but do not know exactly how much he was involved, so he is sentenced to exile in Siberia. But his sweetheart Rena doesn't stand still while he is sent away, so she follows him to Siberia.

On the day Andrzej graduates from police academy and receives his officer's stripes, his father, a senior police officer, is murdered. Andrzej, assigned to the investigative brigade, tries to find the murderer, who turns out to be a member of an international gang of counterfeiters. The mysterious ringleader resorts to the help of Janina, an innocent girl who has nothing to do with the criminals. He blackmails her into pretending to be in love with Andrzej and extracting the necessary information from him. But the girl falls in love for real, and he falls in love with her too...

In West Africa, Polish intelligence sergeant Milczek discovers the bandit Sheikh Abdullah’s desert stronghold but is captured until the sheikh’s wife, Jamila, secretly rescues him and follows him into safety. When Jamila sees Milczek with a European woman and believes he has betrayed her, she returns to warn her husband, prompting the bandits to lay a deadly ambush against the approaching French expedition.
