
Acting
Achille Vann Ricca is an actor-first, educator-second, everything-else-third artist. He holds warmth, collaborative spirit, rhythm, quareness, and equitable education dear in his artistic pursuits. Achille originated the role of Weeping Willow in KUDZU CALLING (Donnetta Lavinia-Grays) at Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Emory in EGGS (Clay Baker-Lerner) at The TANK Pridefest. He's been a member of Clubbed Thumb's New Play Development Acting Cohort for two seasons, and has done myriad workshops with them. He has been seen regionally on the stages of the Laguna Playhouse, MileSquare Theater, Hangar Theatre, Civic Ensemble, and Kitchen Theatre. Achille is proud to be represented by John Essay of Essay Management. On film, he's lead Peter Berle's CUTTING FAT, a selection of Trinity Film Festival and FactoryFest. He has instructed performing arts through New York Edge, Black Theatre United, the Hangar Theatre, Creative Arts at Park, and through private coaching practice. He holds a BFA in Acting with a Minor in Education from Ithaca College.
