Emma, a curious and imaginative nine-year-old girl, loves unicorns, spaceships, and Christmas trees. She lives with her quirky family: her mother Sara, a molecular gastronomy enthusiast; her sharp-witted grandmother Loredana; and her stern father Leo, a science teacher worried about the fantasy world Emma inhabits. Emma’s imaginary friend, Mojito, helps her escape reality, but her parents—on the verge of separation—struggle to understand her. Meanwhile, Bob, Leo’s long-forgotten imaginary friend, reappears, trying to reconnect with him before vanishing forever.
